Beloved wife of the late William Niven and beloved mother of Kenneth (Julie). She is also survived by her brother Stanley Johnson (Maxine) and her grandsons, Andrew Niven and Peter Niven. An avid quilter, she also volunteered at Wayside Inn Thrift Shop of the Diablo Valley Assistance League. She was a lifelong member of P.E.O. and for many years was a volunteer docent at the Oakland Museum. An informal memorial gathering is set for 1-4p.m. on Saturday, July 17 at her home in Walnut Creek.
