Bernice left us on July 19, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Oakland, CA on May 5th, 1931 to Samuel and Rebecca Epstein.

She attended Oakland High School where upon graduation attended UC Berkeley, where she studied child development and psychology.

On October 26th, 1952 she married the love of her life William Glueck. Bernice and Bill would have celebrated their 62nd Anniversary this year. She is survived by her husband Bill, three children Fred (Annelise), Shelly (Pete), and Michael (Connie). Ten Grandchildren: Sarah, Elaine, Zach, Gavin, Gaylin, Grayson, Gaphne, Garen, Cameron and Scott. And one Great Grandchild Evan. Her brother Joseph Epstein (Judy), and brother in law Allan Glueck, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bernice EpsteinBernice was an accomplished competitive bridge player as well as a force to be reckoned with on the golf course. She and Bill joined Round Hill Country Club in 1961, where they were founding members. She was the 9 time RH Women's Golf Club Champion and recent recipient of Player of the Year. Round Hill was not only their home, but the center of their lives.

Bernice leaves behind a long list of friends, golf and bridge partners, and family that loved and cherished her and will miss her dearly.
