April 13, 1944 - July 7, 2017

Glenda Connell Perry, 73, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, after a courageous seven month battle with multiple illnesses. Glenda was born April 13, 1944, in Oakland, to Glenn and June Connell. On Aug. 19, 1967, Glenda married the love of her life, Dennis Perry at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Hayward, California.

Dennis and Glenda settled in Fairfield in 1970 where they raised their family. Glenda was active in Holy Spirit Church and School where she was the first President of the Joint Parent's Guild. She was a member of the Napa-Solano Dental Auxiliary where she volunteered in local schools to teach dental hygiene to children. In addition to her volunteer activities, Glenda loved her time working at the dental office as a receptionist. Glenda was also a caregiver to many family members over the years; always helping those in need with her signature smile and positive outlook on life.

Glenda devoted her life to her family and friends. She made everyone feel like family and never met a stranger. She enjoyed family parties, holidays, bowling, going to Lake Shasta, entertaining and of course, laundry!

Glenda is survived by her husband, Dennis of Winters; her daughter, Judy (Warren) Ducioame of Winters; her two sons, Bill (Robin) Perry of Vacaville and David (Susan) Perry of Winters; her beloved grandchildren, Holly, Hannah, Maysa, Drew, Dimas, Kaylin, Gracie and Charlie; sister, Judy Viri of Fairfield; sister-in-law, Kathy Perry of Rio Vista; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
