James Earl Gray, of Vallejo, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, at Kaiser Medical Center in Vallejo on Aug. 4. He was 67. "Big Jim" was born in Oakland, CA., to Albert Gray Sr., (deceased) and Ellistean Riley, and was the fourth of five children. He was a graduate of Oakland High School.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam and daughters, Jami, Jammir, Jamailah and Tessima Webb; mother, Ellistean Riley of Hayward; brother, Frank Gray and sister in law Carol Gray of Oakland; sister, Zandra Curry of Vallejo, as well as many treasured family and friends.

The viewing will be held at Colonial Chapels in Vallejo, CA., at 2 p.m., on Saturday Aug. 11. The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m., with the reception to follow immediately afterwards. For questions, please call (707) 362-0055.
