Donald W. Marques died unexpectedly at his Castro Valley, CA home June 26, 2011.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janet; son Jason and daughter-in-law Georgianna of Castro Valley, CA; daughter Michelle and partner Sean Howarth of Mountain View, CA : grandchildren Collin and Cheyenne of Castro Valley CA;brother Richard Marques of Mt.Shasta, CA; nephew Lance Marques of Brentwood, CA; and niece Julie Moran of Del Rey, Fla.

Don was born in Oakland, CA. He is an alumnus of Oakland High. He served in the Marines for 3 years. He worked as an inside ironworker at C .E. Toland Son in Benicia, CA for 30+ years.

Don loved fishing, socializing with many people and life.
